Selection of Child Care Centre Operator at Chris Gibson Recreation Centreand Embleton Community Centre
The City of Brampton is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed child care providers currently enrolled in the Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program in Peel (or will enroll and qualify for CWELCC), to operate a new City-owned child care space at the newly renovated Chris Gibson Recreation Centre (125 McLaughlin Road) and futureEmbelton Community Centre(200 Lionhead Golf Club Road).
Quality child care supports parents and promotes healthy child development. Access to quality child care also plays an important role in the location decisions of families and businesses and is a key factor in helping businesses recruit and retain employees.
The proposed child care centre at Chris Gibson Recreation Centre and Embleton Community Centre continues the City’s commitment to the creation of affordable, quality child care spaces to meet the needs of our growing community.

The City invites proponents to this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the selection of child care centre operators at the newly renovated Chris Gibson Recreation Centre and future Embleton Community Centre.
Candidates must sign and submitthe submission form and a non-disclosure agreement by November 24, 2023 at 12:00 noon.
