Commercial Kitchen: Request for Proposals (RFP)

Update: The Request for Proposal (RFP): Selection of Tenant and Operator for Certified Commercial Kitchen / Food Service Incubator closed on November 17, 2023. Staff are in progress for the selection of a tenant and operator.

The City is establishing a certified commercial kitchen (“commercial kitchen”) at 41 George Street South, Suite 103, Brampton, Ontario, to provide a leasable, public health certified commercial kitchen space to chefs, cooks, bakers, private caterers, and food entrepreneurs.

The certified commercial kitchen will act as a culinary hub and food incubator for Downtown Brampton - driving innovative food solutions for the community.

The commercial kitchen renovations are in progress and is anticipated to be ready-for-occupancy by late Fall 2024, with the commercial kitchen opening to the public to book space in late Fall 2024.
