On April 14, 2026, the City of Brampton hosted a Telephone Town Hall on Community Safety with Peel Regional Police.
Mayor Patrick Brown and members of Council were joined by Chief Nishan Duraiappah and Deputy Chiefs of Peel Regional Police to provide updates on key community safety initiatives, discuss current priorities and answer questions directly from residents.
