Expression of Interest (EOI)
PLEASE NOTE: The deadline for submissions has now passed.
The City of Brampton (“City”) is seeking proposals to develop innovative solutions for the charging of personal electric vehicles (EVs) as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability.
By providing an opportunity to test infrastructure to support personal electric vehicles (does not include Brampton Transit EV Infrastructure), the pilot will encourage more people to adopt this environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cars and lower their carbon footprint while also promoting economic development.
This Expression of Interest further aligns with the regulations on electric-vehicle sales mandates in Canada, outlining a strategy to eliminate the sale of gas-powered vehicles by 2035.
Prospective proponents are invited to download the EOI (at right).
Contact Interested parties can email inquiries by February 21, 4 pm to ev-eoi@brampton.ca
