The City of Brampton is taking additional health and safety measures against COVID-19. All City facilities including City Hall, Recreation and Community Centres, and Brampton Library branches are CLOSED until further notice. The City of Brampton takes COVID-19 seriously and continues to follow the advice of Peel Public Health.

All critical services, including Fire and Emergency Services, Brampton Transit, Traffic Services, By-Law Enforcement, Road Operations, Security Services, and Animal Services continue to operate to support our community.

City implements interim bike lanes to promote safe active transportation opportunities during COVID-19 pandemic

To help protect the health and safety of residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Brampton is implementing interim bike lanes along the Vodden Street corridor. These interim bike lanes will provide an alternative cycling option to recreational trails for residents, and allow cyclists to maintain physical distancing.
