The Brampton Entrepreneur Centre (BEC) is closed until further notice. Virtual programs and new services are being offered to further support local businesses. City Clerk’s Services (marriage, business licensing, Commissioner of Oaths Services, etc.)
Appointment-based services for Marriage Licences and Adult Entertainment Licences continue to be available in-person as City Hall.
Commissioning Services will be available by appointment only on Tuesdays: 1 - 3:30 pm and Thursdays 9 am – 12 noon.
Applicants must review commissioning document requirements and guidelines on the City webpage before booking an appointment to visit the Clerk’s Office.

City Hall, West Tower, Civic Centre
Service Brampton information kiosk and cash counter at City Hall are open on weekdays 9 am to 4pm, and the Service Brampton Centre at the Civic Centre will re-open on June 21, 2021.

The office at Unit#2 at Flower City Community Campus is open as of September 9, 2020 for specific appointment-based services for Licensing (Mobile & Stationary Businesses) and Sign Applications. To book at appointment, click here.

The City’s Emergency measures by-laws on physical distancing remains in effect, prohibiting people from maintaining less than a 2.0 metre distance from one another on any public property. Individuals not adhering to physical distancing regulation can be fined a minimum of $500 and maximum of up to $100,000 for each offence. Residents can call 311 to report non-compliance.
All City festivals, events, performances at City facilities continue to be modified to meet the Roadmap to Reopening Ontario status.
The City of Brampton’s Film & Television Office is following guidance of the Ontario Film Commission - Ontario Creates - to form a consistent return-to-work framework for the film, television and commercial production industry.

Fire & Emergency Services
In accordance with the Province of Ontario's Roadmap to Reopen plan, Brampton Library is pleased to offer in-branch services at Chinguacousy (in the Brampton Civic Centre), Cyril Clark, Four Corners (Downtown), and Springdale Branch Libraries. Curbside Pickup is still available at Gore Meadows, Mount Pleasant Village, South Fletcher's, and South West Branch Libraries. We are thrilled to announce that in our open branches, the public may now browse our collections of books and DVDs to select the materials they want to borrow, and pick up their holds reserved online. Please wait for a notification that your held items are ready before requesting them. Use of sit-down computers for a maximum of 1 hour per visit and printing, photocopying, and scanning at a cost of 20 cents per page is available. Library Chromebooks are not currently available.
At this time, in-branch study space, quiet space, and the use of personal devices to work or study is not permitted. We encourage customers to use our self-check-out kiosks and our Brampton Library mobile app to check out Library materials. To learn more about our app, please click here.
Parks, Trails and Outdoor Recreation
The courthouse at 5 Ray Lawson Blvd opened on July 6.
Those attending the courthouse must follow all posted signage and directions. There will be a designated one-way entry door, where you will be greeted by a security guard, please review the posted self screening questions on COVID-19 before entering the facility. Hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry, then visit the Information Counter for a queue ticket.
If your queue is at capacity, you will be prompted to provide your cell phone number to receive a queue number via text message, then wait outside until you receive a text advising you to enter the building. Colour coded floor markings will guide you to different service areas in the building.

Select Recreation Centres are open as of July 16 for select programs and services. Note: Provincial regulations require members of the public to show proof of vaccination to enter certain City facilities and access services, including recreation, sports, cultural and entertainment venues. Some exemptions apply. Read more.
Online reservations for select pay-per-visit indoor swimming, skating, sports and fitness programs are open. Residents can book up to seven days in advance and Non-Residents up to four days in advance. Reservations are available here. Free outdoor Fitness in the Park programs will continue throughout the summer across the City. In addition, Eldorado Pool, Chinguacousy Park Wading Pool and Professor’s Lake continue to be operational. Reservations for outdoor programs and amenities can be made up to three days in advance.
Staff are currently working with sports and community groups to begin permitting indoor amenities in line with regulations. Public rental requests for spot bookings of rooms, gymnasiums and arenas will be taken through 905-874-BOOK, with rentals for arenas available immediately, gymnasiums on July 23 and rooms beginning August 3, 2021 respectively.
