    If a business puts one way markings on their floor, shouldn't the employees ask the customers to obey them ??

    stu asked 15 days ago

    Customers are required to follow physical distancing rules. If residents in Brampton wish to report a non-compliant business, the use of city owned facilities that are closed (other than essential services) or gatherings of more than 5 people, we ask the community to contact 3-1-1. A by-law enforcement officer and/or security personnel will investigate the complaint to ensure compliance with the orders set out by the respective governments and may lay charges when appropriate.

    Any walking track in community center opening soon ? Gore Meadow or Chin gussy Wellness ? If not can I walk in public park ? with social distance.

    George asked 14 days ago

    Recreation facilities and City parks remain closed until further notice. However, residents are permitted to walk through parks on pathways and use trails.

    It is still prohibited to use outdoor recreational facilities including:

    • playgrounds and other structures in parks;
    • picnic sites, benches or shelters;
    • outdoor sports facilities and outdoor fitness equipment, including sports fields, basketball
    • recreation centres and surrounding lands; and
    • parking lots.

    Following the Ontario government’s announcement that some recreational amenities can reopen, the City reopened its outdoor tennis and pickleball courts on May 19, and Peel Village Golf Course will open on May 22. Physical distancing and cleanliness measures will be in place to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and City staff.

    Pat this is wonderful! Thank you for doing this for your Brampton seniors. I just hope other town halls follow this initiative! I don't see the City of Vaughan doing this at all. Thank you

    How many cases of Covid 19 are actively positive in Brampton each and every day? You need to publish the numbers. Not acknowledging the true Covid numbers makes the public continue to not confirm to self isolating and to not confirm with self distancing. Please fix this and respond. Sue Scarfone

    Sue asked about 2 months ago

    Hi Sue, Peel Public Health posts the numbers on their webpage and updates them regularly. The information is available here. Check the tab titled “Confirmed positive COVID-19 cases reported in Peel.”

    Dawn Dunn asked about 2 months ago

    Dawn, thank you for your interest in volunteering. We are still accepting new volunteers who have a valid vulnerable sector police check. If you have not received a follow up email from our team as yet, one of our volunteer coordinators will be in contact with you soon.
