Brampton’s current winter maintenance service contract for roads, sidewalks and transit stops is being renewed.

Residents are invited to take this important survey. The outcome will increase taxes for all households, but not all households (such as apartment buildings, businesses, and driveways on arterial roads) will receive the service.

• It would cost about $2.6 million, an average of $12 per year, per household in property taxes to clear sidewalks.
• It would cost about $19.6 million, an average of $86 per year, per household in property taxes to clear windrows (snow ridges left by snowplows) from driveways.
