As Bramptonians, we are proud of the extraordinary courage and commitment shown by our frontline workers throughout the coronavirus pandemic. Join in their effort and show your support for the community by volunteering your time and services.

This is a great opportunity to make a difference and give back to your community.
Your volunteer hours can be used towards your high school requirement of completing 40 hours of community service.

Some of the areas where you will provide your services are:

Social Task Force:

  • Assembling food hampers at one of our food banks
  • Delivering groceries to the residents of Brampton
  • Working at our long term food supply location

Backyard Garden Program:

Email COVID19backyardgardensvolunteer@brampton.ca if you would like to assist with the program. To learn more about the program, click here.

Senior Task Force:

  • Delivering groceries and medicine to seniors (volunteers must be 18 years old or older)

If you would like to volunteer, but do not have clearance certificate, here’s what you can do:

  • Sign up with Spark Ontario for volunteer opportunities to support seniors, people with disabilities and other Ontarians requiring assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Check in on the seniors in your family and neighbours, and help them do online orders for groceries and other essentials.

We know, you are excited to join, we just need a few things before we get you on board:

  • Be under the age of 65;
  • Be in good health. No recent travel outside of Canada within the past 30 days
  • Be required to have a valid vulnerable sector police check and provide us with a copy

If you are ready to play your part, contact us by emailing covid19support@brampton.ca
