City of Brampton Ward Boundary Review Public Feedback Survey

Evaluation of Proposed Ward Boundary Realignment Options

The City of Brampton is undertaking a comprehensive review of its ward boundaries. A ward is a geographical division of a municipality for administrative and political purposes.

The current wards were established in 2014 and since then, Brampton has experienced significant growth. Some areas of the city have seen more growth than others, resulting in a population imbalance in some of the wards. This review aims to establish fair and equitable wards with balanced representation of the citizens at the council table.

Two (2) ward boundary realignment options have been developed that aim to create a more fair and equitable distribution of population, and now the City wants to hear from you on the proposed options.

This survey is important as it will help the City understand how the residents view the proposed realignment options and your feedback will help Council make an informed decision when considering which realignment option to adopt.

The survey is short and will take only a few minutes to complete. Please share it with your friends, family and neighbours. The survey will be available until November 20, 2024.
